I love to train heavy-most women are afraid of picking up anything bigger than a 5lb weight for fear of turning into the HULK! The truth is-it won’t happen! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t train heavy every time I step into the gym, but rather incorporate it into my workouts at least twice per month. Today, I did the following…

Pull ups-3 sets of 8 to 12 reps
deadlifting-6 sets-my last set was my heavy set for 1 rep max
Pull downs-3 sets-medium weight 12 reps
one-arm rows-medium weight 3 sets

Enjoy your workout-and remember to listen to your body-if your not feeling the heavy weight-DON’T do it. Leave the ego at the door!
